Renovating a structure built in 1716 is a delicate balance of respect and craftsmanship. For Chapter House, we wanted to create a living, breathing retreat that felt as current as it did historic. We moved away from traditional Cape Cod clichés. You won't find literal nautical kitsch here. Instead, we focused on "refined heritage"—using deep oceanic tones, raw textures, and custom woodwork to evoke the coast without the typical tropes. Every guest room was designed as a private sanctuary. By pairing the estate’s original architectural "bones" with modern furniture, we created a space that feels grounded in history but built for contemporary comfort. The result is a seamless flow between the old world and the new. Chapter House isn't just a place to stay; it’s an immersive experience where New England’s past meets a new standard of leisure.
